Welcome !

My name is Katherine, i am 43 year old living in Toronto with my one crazy and wonderful cat and my equally wonderful husband, Ken.
I have been working in a museum for 16 yrs and loved almost every minute of it. I have met the most wonderful people at work and continue to learn from them every day.
Initially I thought this blog was going to be about my wonderful adventures at work but since I had surgery last May, it has been a repository for things that I have been making and eating. This weight loss for both Ken and I has been an adventure.
Since January I have been experimenting with Paleo-Primal lifestyle with really good results. I have never met a baked good I didn’t like, so paleo is a good way to keep my baked good addicted to a minimum.

Love your site Kat! I’ll be making the roasted veggies this weekend. So surprised to hear Ken’s mother boiled vegetables. ๐Ÿ™‚ Chris

I am sure you are completely SHOCKED! I’ll roll out something like scalloped potatoes and Ken will say “these are scalloped potatoes?” and I’ll counter with “yeah and FYI dessert doesn’t have to be frozen before consumption”

Hi, Katherine! I liked your blog, so I passed on a Liebster Award to you. It’s given to bloggers with fewer than 200 followers. They, then, pass it along to 11 other bloggers. It’s a way for your readers to get to know you and for bloggers to connect with other bloggers. ๐Ÿ™‚ Come check out the link on my site and share the love with others: http://fitfoodiemom.com/2013/04/25/i-was-nominated-for-the-liebster-award/

Interesting idea, a website promising juicy info on museums but dishing up cookery instead… Are you planning a follow-up – ‘Antics of a kitchen girl’ devoted to museum stuff?
